The weekend's second murder took place out west - in Camalote village.

This time 23-year-old Floyd Montero was shot to the back of the head sometime on Friday night. It happened on a feeder road just off Thimbrel's Nazarene Church. That's where the cops believe that an unknown assailant caught up with Montero and fired at least four shots at him.

He'd last been seen exiting the home of the Trapp family who live nearby in the Good Living Ranch area. This morning we got details on his death from ASP FitzRoy Yearwood.

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"On the 17th of March sometime around 11:30 PM police responded to a scene in the Good Living Ranch area of, I see a thing saying Camalote village and one saying Roaring Creek, all I know is it's the good living Ranch area where they found a motionless body on a feeder Road, identified as Floyd Montero, 23 years, of Roaring Creek Village. This person was seen lying face down with gunshot injuries to the body. Initial investigation revealed that he was out socializing in the village of Camalote earlier that evening and unfortunately he was approached by someone who fired four shots in his direction causing his fatality."

Courtney Menzies:
"And, did he have any previous altercations or problems with anybody?"

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"Well, like I said the investigators haven't indicated that to me so far, um, so I wouldn't want to speculate about anybody's character."

Courtney Menzies:
"The Feeder road are you aware if it's a well lit area or if it is darkened?"

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"That much I can't answer as that was not indicated to me."

No arrests have been made.
