Marconi Leal Junior, he's the CEO in the Ministry of transport, Youth and Sports. Recently we reported that his hands had been tied by his minister Rodwell Ferguson who told him in a letter that even as a the Minister's Accounting Officer - Leal could no longer authorize any expenditure greater than five thousand dollars. That's a sure sign of discontent brewing and over the weekend into today reports emerged that Leal Junior had resigned.
Well this evening he told us it is "not true" that he has resigned. But, there are also reports that he will be changing ministries, making a lateral move to part ways with Ferguson. And when we asked about that...? Well, we're still waiting for the answer. But if and when something does happen, we'll let you know.
