15 Years For Trio Village Killers

Back in June, four men were convicted for the 2017 murder of Toledo resident Santiago Garcia. He was viciously chopped to death in Trio Village by the four men - one of them was only 16 at the time.

They were charged for murder, but on June 19th Justice Antonette Moore found all 4 accused were not guilty of Murder, but guilty of manslaughter.

Today they were sentenced. Sabanito Cal, Arnoldo Xol and Leonardo Ba were all sentenced to 15 years, while Tyrone Ba who was a minor was sentenced to 13 years.

All their sentences will commence on the date they were first remanded which is 26th April 2017 - so they have already served 6 years.
