And while the circumstances surrounding that shooting are still unknown, police had detained one suspect in relation to the murder of 16-year-old Jahfeth Stamp, and the shooting of 43-year-old Wayne Matura.
And while you've heard from the police and the families of the victims, you likely haven't seen the surveillance footage of the incident, which was released today.
Courtney Menzies took a look at the footage, but before we air it, we warn that viewer discretion is advised, as the videos are graphic - so if you have children in the room, you'll definitely want them to take a TV break.
Here is that story.
This video, captured on a surveillance camera, shows the moment that 16-year-old Jahfeth Stamp collapsed on the street, a few feet away from where he was shot on Rivero Street.
Fifteen seconds later, a man checks his body, then returns about twenty seconds later, searching him for his firearm.
This video continues for about another 40 seconds - a total of one minute and twenty seconds that Stamp's body was lying on the street, bleeding out.
At that time, the man who took Stamp's gun ran onto Faber's Road and into the Matura family yard.
He pulls out the weapon, aiming it at - Wayne Matura before chasing him around a vehicle. He pulls the trigger several times, but the gun jams, and though Matura is shot in the leg, he survives the ordeal.
And while Matura was an innocent victim in this gang war, Stamp went for the kill after he entered this yard armed with a gun. His mother has repeatedly said that though she tried to keep him at home, ultimately he was caught in the web of the streets.
Angela Lopez, Mother of Deceased

"I told him stay home, because they can't come attack you at home, because they will think twice about attacking you at home. Your life will be given away on the street, before you know it, you're going to go out there, with this one, with that one, and boom boom boom. I don't know what happened, only to get the sad news on Sunday."
"I wait up, he didn't come home, Saturday he didn't come home, Sunday when I wake up, my sister said come here, hurry. I jump out of my good sleep and I ran across the yard, they said they just killed your son. That's what they told me. They said they just killed your son, I said, God, I told this little boy a hundred times don't go with this boy."
There have still been no arrests made in this incident.
