So, tonight 3 are dead, one shooting victim is critical, and three more are stable.
And, of course, while Delmar Rodriguez and Carlos Chi knew their lifestyle had certain risks, 3 year old Amari just wanted to be with her dad - and the toddler was killed for it.
Today the Commissioner lamented her loss:
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"A sad day for us a nation as we grieve the loss of a 2 year old. It goes to show the callousness in which some of these criminals operate and as a nation these are things that we must condemn and so I condemn the conduct of the perpetrator of this triple murder in San Pedro in its highest term and I want to assure the Belizean people that we are doing all we can to locate those two individuals."

"What we have done so far is that we have deployed a team of senior investigators from Major Crime to assist the San Pedro police in that investigation. We have also deployed additional manpower from the specialized units to go and assist in search of the two suspects. At this time, we're looking for two individuals. That is Michael Brown and Christian Espat. Those two persons are currently being sought by the police and we are appealing to the public that if they have any information pertinent to their whereabouts to please feel free to call us so that we can go and remove these two dangerous criminals off our streets."
Jules Vasquez
"Do you believe the suspects are on the island or that they have fled?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Well, we believe that they may be somewhere on the island or on some other island within the area. We are doing what we can to find them. We know that Espat do have a history of whenever he is accused of committing these heinous type of crime he would normally flee to the Benque area. As you'd know he do have relatives in Benque and and so we are looking for him on land, sea and maybe even in the air, but he must be found. We're going to put out the wanted posters shortly and appeal to public to provide us with any information they may have pertinent to their whereabouts."
