And baby Amari wasn't the only casualty. Carlos Chi was the third murder victim, and he doesn't even live in San Pedro. The Corozal resident just went to the island on Saturday to try to make some money for his rent. He was only with Rodriguez for a couple of days before his life was taken away.
Our colleagues at Ctv3 spoke to his parents in Corozal. They are now asking for assistance to bring his body back home.

Flor Chi, Mother of Deceased
"He told me that he wanted to make some money in San Pedro because he wanted to go pay his rent so he told my daughter that he needed to go to San Pedro to work and then he called that how he is fishing so he told his common law wife that he already made the money and he have to bring this money to pay the rent. So later on this morning, 1:30, we heard that they already killed my son."
Calvin Chi Sr., Father of Deceased
"I spoke with his wife this morning and she told me he went to San Pedro on Saturday because his cousin called him and said the conch season is open and it's time to make some money."

"I ask the law, please do your job. I need you guys to move and do things don't just fold the page and just dash it on a corner. Because I remember how they murdered my brother, and it ended right there, nobody knows who did it, nobody got arrested and charged. Also years ago too they killed my nephew Micheal Cowo and the same thing happened, we didn't get any justice. Like I said before, we're hard working guys and we try to survive everyday and we respect the law."
"Since I got this opportunity I want to talk to the mayor also the minister Mr Andre Perez, I need your help, please give me your help to see if I could get my son here. I don't have money of the coffin or anything. I'm in Corozal. Mr Andre, please give me a call, my name is Calvin Chi, you know me good."
