An Asian grocery store on Faber's Road Extension was robbed around midday today.

R & I Shop had their gates closed this afternoon after two men entered the store armed with a gun. One of the robbers pointed the gun at the store owner, 56-year-old Yue Shao Raun, and stole approximately $1,000 in cash.

The robber also took two cell phones, a purse containing identification and debit cards, and a bracelet. The total value of everything stolen is $5,350. The robbers then fled the scene, and police are currently investigating.
