And while police continue to look for that escapee, two officers were stabbed in San Pedro on Tuesday night. We told you that both police constables survived the attack, and today ACP Romero explained that the alleged perpetrator said that he was acting in self defense.

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"They visited the San Pedro Polyclinic where upon arrival they found police constable Kerian Mena and police constable Edwin Reid with stab wounds. They were treated and have since been released. An investigation was carried out into this report where police came across a male person identified as Eric Bradley. Eric Bradley reported that he was standing on the street when he was approached by Kerian Mena and Edwin Reid who began to punch him and assaulted him. All three persons received several injuries and their injuries have been classified as wounding. We are carrying out an investigation into this matter, we'll make a determination later on today as to the charges that will be levied."
