Jamaican Shot In Known Gang Area

A man is in critical condition tonight after he was shot multiple times last night.

Around 8:00, 30 year old Theodore Dwyer, a Jamaican national resident in Belize was sitting down at a basketball court on Mayflower Street when he was approached by three unidentified men who fired multiple shots at him.

Dwyer was hit multiple times and rushed to the KHMH for reatment. Police - who have a fixed presence in the area at all times - have not made any arrests at this time.
