City Calm After Gang Figure's Murder

The city is calm at this hour, after this evening's murder of 44 year old Elwin Bobo Lewis - someone who would be called an elder of the George Street Gang.

Bobo was shot in front of Gwen Liz high school around 5:00 pm - reportedly after going to cash the LIU cheques for his George Street work crew on Iguana Street - which is not his gangs turf.

He was shot, rushed to the hospital and died about an hour later while receiving treatment. We saw some of his family gathered at the hospital along with personalities from the LIU and the LOVE Foundation.
