And today, on day three of the budget debate, Barrow warned that the allegations made by Yellowman Audinett are false and defamatory. He threatened legal action against any media house that repeats them:

"By you saying that you know that you're exposing your media house to defamation."

"I'm just saying it was a document that was written to the chairman of the party."
Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"That is absolutely untrue and anybody that publishes any such untruths will be sued."

"Sir we're giving you a right of response."
Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"You want me to repeat again? That is absolutely untrue, that is defamatory, that is slanderous and anyone that repeats such defamatory material will be sued."

"So what's the status with Yellowman as it relates to the party?"
Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"He was terminated by the Secretary General."
And while Barrow chose not to divulge the details of his termination, a letter written to him said, quote, "On Monday March 18th while on suspension, you went to the office of the secretariat and stole the refrigerator, TV and microwave. Based on your theft of Secretariat propriety, other misconduct, and a pattern of breaches you are hereby terminated effective immediately." End quote.
