But Barrow has more pressing matters to deal with than those allegations. Tomorrow the UDP will have their post-elections NPC meeting. Barrow said that it would be like a post mortem to look at what went right, what went wrong, and what they can do better to prepare for the general elections.

But will one of the suggestions be new leadership for the party? Barrow says there's not a chance.

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition

"We had zero municipalities before, we captured one so in our statistical spin, it is an increase so we know that we did better in PG, we won PG mayor then there was a recount. We won by ten votes and then we lost it by 25 so that 35 votes that appeared so we'll be taking that matter to court. We made significant gains in Belmopan City whereas we lost the general elections by 2,100 and in the municipals of this year, we came as close as 200 which shows that we're heading in the right direction so I have no concern about my status."

"We need to concentrate our efforts in certain areas and people are prepared to make the sacrifices needed for us to get the 16 seats and that is the response I've been getting since the March 6th elections."

Reporter:
"Will there be a decision taken tomorrow in terms of your leadership of the party moving forward?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"That's absolutely ridiculous, the item on the agenda is the postmortem. I was not appointed as leader, there was not just a resolution in the NPC, it was the national convention, the highest body of this party, re-elected me to lead until after general elections, not after the municipal elections and that remains."
