And though today's main focus was the cross examination. Bradley also touched the subject on bail, and how he feels it is often weaponized against accused persons. Here's his take on it:
Dickie Bradley, Attorney

"All of the persons involved in this matter except one person. Mr. Nah is not on bail for another matter, he was granted bail by the Supreme Court in the matter. You know, I want to grind a little bit from my other colleagues. Bail is NOT a weapon to punish a person who is accused. I'm going to get myself in trouble, but that's how my mother raised me. The new judges are using every excuse to deny bail to persons who are being accused. We will, let me say my colleagues they are very upset over this, you can't be denying bail for an accused person unless there is compelling reason. They're using some, some word in the crime control act and act that the PUP government should have thrown away long ago."
"They're using the word special reasons. The act itself, the law, does not define special reasons. They are, in fact, interpreting the law, which in our respectful and humble view honourables, that that is not what you do when you're upholding the constitutional right of persons to their liberty and their freedom."
"They need to take into account when your tell a man, no, you will stay in a jail, on an accusation. What happened to his family and his children, how they only eat every day at school. We are not a people who got a lot of money."
"We juggle and eat tacos in the morning and this and that every day. You know this, Marisol."
