Tour guide turned environmental activist Eworth Garbutt appeared in Dangriga Magistrates Court today charged for damage to property.

He is accused of damaging a geotex curtain which a Developer had placed around the Will Bauer Flats - also called Angelfish Caye - in February.

Garbutt denied the claim and pleaded not guilty in court today. It was his first ever appearance in court and he is out on two thousand dollars bail tonight. He is represented by attorney Dickie Bradley.
