And it's these instances of crime that the Opposition criticized the government about yesterday in the House of Representatives. Collet Area Rep, Patrick Faber, stood up to complain about Kareem Musa's methods, which he said were just a copycat of the very same strategies he criticized the UDP for.

Faber also revealed that one of his constituents was raped, and up to now the police have not tried to collect evidence from the security cameras. But he admitted that though his camera may have caught the incident, he refused to hand it over to the family, for fear of his own safety:

Patrick Faber, Area Rep., Collet
"You were the mouthpiece, in fact, you were one of the members in the honorable House, maybe that is why, but you took on those matters, you were the one who, every chance you got criticized the efforts of the UDP, running them down, you were the one who got up on the TV in this honorable House and criticized the administration for preventative detention. You were the one who criticized the administration for declaring states of emergency. You were the one who said it would be really easy for the problems of crime to be solved."

"Back then you and Chester were not friends like you are now. You used to run him down, used to say he was a UDP "licky" and you criticized every single measure that the UDP put in place in order to curb the crime. And then when you became the minister what happened? You put in place some of those same measures, in fact, I accuse you sir of not having an original thought of how to deal with crime."

"A resident of my constituency got raped right in front of my office in the wee hours of the morning last week. The police camera is right there. So when you talk about technology and using technology- then they didn't come to me directly, but the family came, if I could give them the footage from my office, no sir, because I won't get into any quarrel with the people in that area about snitching. You have a camera right up there, but you could say what you want. I have to live there and I go there everyday. This is how the rank and file people of the country feel, you could say what you want, the people of this country feel that way, they don't feel safe. If you go and testify you're a witness, you're not safe, we see it happening over and over and over again so your statistics does not give us any comfort."
