And while Musa is quietly towing the police line - he can't deny that a public good was done by someone - reportedly a minor - capturing this apparent abuse in the face of a threatening police officer.

But, in another of his leaps of logic, Musa said he also wants the public to do something very dangerous - and that is, capture criminals in the act - and then give the video to police!:

"Obviously we only got a very short snippet a short clip I don't know if the video was spliced but I want to encourage members of the public continue to film instances where officers may be using force but also try to give us the full picture because I don't believe that is where the video started. And so I want to encourage members of society. Yes it is always good to get an officer acting out but try to get the criminals who are acting out. That is actually more important for the police department to make arrests."
