And while the 90 day SOE has its critics, by taking criminals off the street and locking them away, the ComPol says that it has contributed to the reduction in crime.
Of course, as the lead proponent of the SOE, he would say that but yesterday he backed it up with statistics, saying that the murder rate - which had been up50% through the end of June - has gone down-and he attributes it to the SOE.
