Accused of rape, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault all while posing as a police officer to get into the home of his victim, 31 year old Leon Lamb was found guilty of rape today.
The verdict comes after a 8 month trial that began in February of this year. The victim testified that on September 24, 2022 she was at home when someone came to the door shouting "police." When she opened the door Lamb pointed a gun at her, attacked her and forced her to perform oral sex. He then forced her into the bedroom and upon realizing that she was menstruating he slapped her and ran out of the house.
Lamb testified that he never met or saw his victim until March 23, 2025 when the trial began. Lamb denied all allegations made against him, but Justice Nigel Pilgrim found that the the crown proved the elements of the offense of rape to have occurred, in addition to the injuries she had sustained from the incident. As a result of this lamb was found guilty and his sentence hearing has been deferred for December 5th.
