Police have this evening charged a man for one of the most grisly murders we've ever reported on. On Saturday evening - a woman was found dead - stuffed in a garbage barrel here in the city. Tonight, the accused of well known Belize City character and career criminal 55 year old Goldburne Easy Glen Adolphus.

7News has obtained surveillance video of him allegedly moving the body down the street in that garbage barrel.

Jomarie Lanza has put it together:

Between 5:30 and 6:00 am on Saturday morning the suspect can be seen coming out of what is known as the Boots building at the corner of Central American Boulevard and George Price Highway carting out a blue plastic barrel in which the body of Shaniele Faber, mother of 4 2 would later her found. He ambles down the street with it, struggling to move the quite heavy barrel on a trolly. He stopped briefly in front of La Popular bakery and wheeled it slowly across the road to in front of Monica's pawn shop where he carts it along the sidewalk and right at the corner 300 feet away from where he started he tilts the trolley and leaves the plastic barrel with the body of Shaniele Faber inside. 12 hours later, around 5:30 on Saturday evening a man looking in the trash for pint bottles made the startling discovery and informed police.

"Police are investigating the murder of 42 year old Shaniele Faber a B Belizean Domestic of a Belize City Address. Police's investigation commenced as a consequence of a report of a body being found at the corner of Amandala Drive and Cemetery Road. Police responded. Upon responding, they were able to confirm indeed that which was reported so far. Police's investigation included the review of a video footage, which has led police to the detention of one new person who is currently in custody, and charges are expected to be brought in relation to his connection to this incident."

"The footages that have made its way on social media has shown and suggested that the body was taken to that location."

"The information that has been disclosed is the extent that the department wishes to disclose. It's a very sensitive situation. It's a female that was certainly whose life was cut short and not only cut short but the circumstances of the discovery is, certainly one that I believe is affecting every right thinking person and especially members of the family. So it's the department's position to just disclose that photo traumatizes those persons who have been involved. The fact that her life was taken and police are doing their best to investigate this matter and to have justice take its course."

"The forensic examination will be able to determine when was the cause of death. And to expound on whether decomposition has occurred had occurred."
