And that means that Superintendent Aaron Gamboa, who is the Officer Commanding of the SPU has been re-deployed. It's a sharp shift for the veteran cop who had become synonymous with the Martins; area. Musa discussed it today:

"Officer Gamboa has been an incredible force inside the Saint Martin's area. So much so that I think in 2017 he was removed, only to have been reinserted back into the area after an escalation. And so I personally have to acknowledge the excellent ground command that he has displayed in this Saint Martin's area over the last 5 to 6 years. It's not an easy task, Jules. And so there is always a need to revisit our strategies. And this is one of those strategies that we are revisiting for the time being."
