The Elmer Nah trial for the triple murder of Jon, Vivian and David Ramnarace continued today but with a major change of scenery. It went from the courthouse to the scene of the crime in Belmopan in what is called a "locus" visit.

Just before 11:00 this morning in Belmopan, heavily armed guards escorted Nah, his defence, Prosecutor Terrence Williams, and the judiciary led by Justice Nigel Pilgrim to the home of Jon and Vivian Ramnarace in the Maya Mopan area Belmopan.

The purpose of the "locus" was to formally identify the scene where the murders took place on New Year's eve 2022.

From there the group was then taken to Wei Li Shop located West of the Ramnarace residence where 3 cameras were identified at the store to the court.

The third location they then visited was the home of Elmer Nah, that was searched the night of the murders.

The locus then came to an end just after 12, and this afternoon the trial within a trial continued in the Belmopan High Court. The case was adjourned for tomorrow morning where Nah is expected to take the stand to present share his side of the case at the Belize City High Court.
