In the past 36 hours, six persons have been reported dead: four by fatal road traffic incidents, one fatally shot, and one death investigation.
We start with the traffic accidents. On Sunday, a couple was killed in Ontario after their vehicle flipped while they were heading home. Jomarie Lanza has this story.
This is the mangled vehicle that Jovan Middleton was driving with his partner Ashley Gongora, in the passenger seat when he crashed into a culvert and overturned near Ontario Village yesterday morning. Middleton is believed to have died on impact, while Gongora passed away not too long after from her injuries. Middleton's family say they still cannot wrap their minds around what had happened, claiming that he was one of the most careful drivers they knew.

"Personally I don't know I wasn't there I mean you just hear different things but you know how rumors go they add head and tail here and there so honestly I can't say I know what happened. All I know is that he was coming from Belmopan to his home in Ontario but I cannot say what exactly happened. And he is a very careful driver as far as we know. He does that for a living, he works for the government of Belize he is a driver and so he is very very careful on the road so I really don't know what happened."
Middleton was known for his love of horses, and his sister says that his playful nature was just a small part of his huge personality, and who he was to them, their cherished younger brother.

"For me he was just a joy to be around you could always depend on him. And even up to the last few hours before his untimely death I was so happy to have gotten a hug from him. We were dancing and doing the chacha slide which is a dance we learned from the high school that he was going. I was his teacher back then as well, but he could always find the funniest of things in different situations. I am going to miss my brother so much."
