45 year old Fidel Medina, a resident of San Pedro, has been remanded to prison after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 9 year old girl. He was convicted for assault of a child under sixteen by penetration and one count of sexual assault but found not guilty on the second count.
The minor testified in court that sometime between April 1st 2023 and June 12th 2023, Medina touched her inappropriately on two occasions. Medina denied the allegation that he had penetrated her with his finger, and stated that, in relation to the second allegation that he touched her breast, that it had been an accident.
He is remanded until December 12th 2025.
