Police have formally arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting that shook Bella Vista Village last year.

21-year-old Jerdell Benjamin King of Independence Village, was charged with one count of Murder and one count of Attempted Murder in relation to the September 6, 2025 shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Narjin Ceron and left his common-law wife, Nickey Logan, injured.

The incident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. when a gunman entered the wooden home where Ceron, Logan, and their infant child were sleeping and opened fire. Ceron was fatally shot, while Logan sustained gunshot injuries as she shielded their baby during the attack. The child was not injured.
