A mother and her son have been charged with attempted murder, a result of a bloody dispute between the mother and her female partner. The victim, 36-year-old Samira Gentle, a ForkLift Operator, was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds following a bloody fight with her ex 38-year-old, Prunella White on Sunday.
Police allege that White and her son, 19-year-old Jermaine Belisle, stabbed and chopped Gentle. The mother and son appeared in court today before Magistrate Mannon Dennison who read them both one count each of use of deadly means of harm and attempted murder. No plea was taken due to the nature of the offense and bail was denied. Both were remanded to the Belize Central prison until February 25th 2026.
Gentle was said to be in a critical condition.
