And more than witnesses, Saldivar says there is also surveillance footage that has yet to be produced. Saldivar expects that these will emerge within a trial one way or another, unless there is indeed a blanket cover up:

"But they are trying to say that because it is a constitutional matter and the claims are being made are serious that you should be able to say well this is what we have linked to the minister in relation to the accusation."

"What we know Marisol is that there were 4 separate cameras, 4 all of which came directly under the control of the government of Belize. The banquitas house of culture, the court, the social security camera and the police station camera, the police station camera so tell me where is the footage, who deleted it?"

"But will the court direct the production of it."

"That would be obstruction of justice and that is why we have to have disclosure. When we request disclosure and those things cannot be produced then that is another matter."
