19 Year Old Charged For Sex With Minor

A 19-year-old warehouse attendant who told the court he was employed at Brodies has been remanded to prison after being arraigned on multiple counts of unlawful sexual intercourse involving a minor. Ashmar Rodriguez appeared unrepresented before a Senior Magistrate today, where he was read three indictable charges of unlawful sexual intercourse. The allegations involve a 12 year old girl. The offences allegedly occurred in August and September 2025.

Due to the seriousness of the offence, no plea was taken and bail was denied.

Rodriguez has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison until his next court date on June 4th.
