Monday evening's police response to an armed robbery at a vaping store was a masterclass in rapid and effective response. The cops braved gunshots from the fleeing culprits, fearlessly tracked them both down, got their guns, and tonight they are on remand facing a slew of charges.
But there's one thing they didn't get: the $23,000 dollars in cash that they stole from the vape store. That's right. That 23k is missing even though the robbers were caught minutes after the robbery.
The storeowner - asking to speak unidentified via phone -told us that the mystery of its disappearance is most perplexing:

"That amount was taken however it was not recovered."

"So, where's the money?"
Voice Of: Business Owner
"We have no knowledge of where the money is so far. I've been told that it has not been recovered as of yet."

"I'm just an outsider but it strikes as a little bit suspicious because the guys left and they were pursued immediately by the police officers. Have you gotten any information on where it might be?"
Voice Of: Business Owner
"No sir, all I was told is that the firearms were recovered and that's about it, nothing else."

"Well, how does that make you feel?"
Voice Of: Business Owner
"It's insane but at the end of the day there's nothing else we can do about it as long as no lives were lost my employees in good fate, that's all that matters."

"Do you feel that you were targeted by someone with specific knowledge that you would have that amount of money from a car sale at you office at the time?"
Voice Of: Business Owner
"Absolutely, because Dylan never collects anything for me over there whatsoever however on that day I was not in the country so I've asked the guy to please deliver it to the store and at approximately 6:11 he dropped off the funds and around 6:14 I would say that's when the robbers had came in and stole the cash between 3-4 minutes."
"We usually don't let people enter the establishment when they come in with a helmet or a cap or a shades however he opened it very quickly because he saw it was police."
The accused Kenroy Daly and 26-year-old, Ahkeem Danderson were read a total of 9 charges between both of them: including robbery of $23,000 dollars, aggravated assault with a firearm, and other firearm and ammunition charges.
