Before the break we told you all about the many trials facing Joseph Budna and his family in their dealing with law enforcement.
But, while they are going through it, reports say police officers involved in his kidnapping have been quietly getting promoted - even without sitting the promotions exam. We asked the CEO about that:

"I am not aware of anyone promoted without sitting an exam. And certainly that is not the practice and not the intent for us to promote anyone who did not sit an exam or fall short of meeting all the criteria. So I don't know where you are getting your information from but if it is accurate then actions will be taken. I will take a review of it as soon as I get back into office but certainly we do not intend to promote anyone who does not meet the criteria and if that means sitting an exam at the different levels then we will take a look at that."
