Today, Ash Wednesday, the always-effervescent Viola Myles bubbled into her 101st birthday and the former Miss Y took a call from a special fan.
Commissioner Carmen Zetina dropped by with a bouquet of flowers and while he thankfully didn't croon his deadly "Happy Birthday" renditions, the COMPOL did present her with a bouquet of flowers.
Jose Zetina, Commissioner of Police (presenting bouquet)
"On behalf of myself, family, and the police department please receive this as a happy birthday gift. Just pray for me that I reach your age in another 45 years time."
Viola Myles, (Accepting bouquet)
"I always pray for you guys. I always hear stories of you guys shooting up each other and taking people to court and all that."
Jose Zetina,
"Continue praying Ms. Myles, it's a very dangerous job but we got to do it."
Viola Myles,
"Thank you, my gratitude goes to the police force."
And that was just starters, the centenarian then went on to a throw down in her honor at the "Y".
