PSU Cheers on Supreme Court Decision

The Public Service Union today cheered the decision handed down from the Chief Justice, which found that it is unconstitutional to retire public officers "in the public interest" without showing just cause.

The PSU says this infamous clause has been the cause of many injustices carried out against public officers. The PSU release also points to three cases of retirement in the public interest now pending at the Ministry of Natural Resources which it expects to now be aborted.
