“It is my second time around.”
Keith Swift,
What can people expect from you this time?
Wayne Wonder,
“Musical enjoyment. I am here to bring my music. I’ve been doing it for years so I just want to come and share some of my creative flow that I have been doing over the years. I record constantly. I’ve added songs like ‘I still believe’ to the catalogue and songs like ‘love and affection.’ Sometimes only when the beat strikes up I remember the songs. There are too many songs.
When I started in the music I actually started covering songs. I’ve always been writing but at the time I didn’t get to express it but since 1993 I’ve been writing my own stuff and most of it, 95% of it is like experience, personal stuff like things that I experienced on the road. It is all about real life; actuality not reality.”
Keith Swift,
The forecast says it is going to rain. What can you say to encourage people to come out?
Wayne Wonder,
“Well whether rain or shine just come out and enjoy yourself. It is a musical fiesta so bring your umbrellas. Don’t be afraid of water, a little water, that’s H2O.”
Wayne Wonder performs at Cahal Pech tomorrow.
