We have a new music video to premiere tonight. It is called “Babylon” and it is performed by “Instruments of Love” – a quartet of young men from Ladyville. They have different backgrounds, and are in different fields of work, but they share one thing in common – a love of music. They dropped by our studios earlier this week to show us the video and tell us about their upcoming album.
G. Money, Instruments of Love
“We are just basically working on the album trying to get the album ready in time and it was a long struggle so we decided now to bring out the video because the album is now ready. We wanted that when we brought out the video that we had an album release date with that.”
Junior Rebel, Instruments of Love
“Music in Belize is just getting recognized and our four talents together

make a powerful combination. So our music right now is a whole different flavour, whole different style. It is so much flavour mixed in together.”
MIK, Instruments of Love
“We basically grew up in the same neighorhood, all of us knew each other a long time, everybody was pushing their own music vibes in the hood. We just decided to come together and said we would put the best of four together and we would go to the world non stop. We made a 21 compact album called ‘Too Hot To Handle.’ It is no regular album, this is to the world we are speaking. We are touching each and every basic things happening in the world right now, not just Belize.”
G. Money,
“The album is an original composition, all the beats are original, all the songs are original songs we wrote as a group, the beats we made together. So the album, we took at least a year and a half working on the album and now the album is ready. The release date is set for October 14th.”
The video was produced by Marlon Lopez. Visit http://www.myspace.com/instruments of love for the full video and more about the group.
