And, from the streets to the back of the studio, at the edit bay: tonight, we present our annual montage looking back at all the stuff that happened in 2020 - the most memorable year on record. And memorable for all the wrong reasons! 2020 was the year that upended all our lives, young and old, rich and poor, working and jobless, commuters and car owners, students, and know-it-all's - no matter what corner of society you come from, your world was turned upside down in the last 12 months.

And, sadly, for the families of Belize's 248 COVID 19 victims - their worlds were shattered by this confounding and ruthless virus.

And while we'll never recover from those losses, 2020, did give all of us some time to slow down and reflect on what matters most - the health and wellness of ourselves and our families.

And, even with COVID - we still had a general election - where our democracy proved robust as voters demonstrated their will and their power. And, then we had the generational floods in October and November, where Mother Nature demonstrated her power.

So, yeah, 2020, had a WHOLE LOT going on - and, for months, our video editor Lance Howard has been composing the symphony of images and sound that would put this unprecedented year in context. Here's what he came up with after a few hundred hours of work - all of 2020 rolled into 8 minutes:
