A Billboard Announces Child Friendly City

And while the National University is going global, the City of Belmopan has been UNICEF certified as child-friendly.

It's a certification that came with the unveiling of the capital city's newest billboard.

Thereafter the City's mayor, among others, offered some optimistic words for Belmopan's young people explaining that development can only be done right when it's done in the best interest of the child.

While the title of "Child-friendly City" is welcome, we should note that Belmopan's many playgrounds are run down with most of them not having working equipment.
