The celebration of Women's Month officially ended yesterday. And as part of the calendar of events in Belize, the police department held its first-ever Women's Tactical Intelligence Challenge.
This was an all-day event that was held at the Anchor Security Range outside of Belmopan. It featured teams of female police officers from across the country who competed in tests of intelligence, strategy, and marksmanship.
The event was designed to highlight the female members of the civilian security forces who blaze trails every day in the service of their country and citizens.
With video provided by the Government Press Office, here's what the organizers had to say about the competition:
As you saw, the competition has the full support of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
