Pageant shenanigans were the talk of the town over the weekend as Ashley Lightburn was crowned Miss Belize at the Bliss. But just when you thought you were all pageant-ed out, comes the pomp, circumstance, and tradition of Belize's most historically significant pageant, the Queen of the Bay.
And over the weekend six delegates from every district were sashed and presented with a curtsy as they announced their intention to present themselves to vie for the title of the 77th Queen of the Bay.
Here's what happen this morning when the delegates appeared on Sunup on 7.
The Queen of the Bay's talent competition takes place tomorrow night, Wednesday the 17th of August at 7 PM with tickets at $10.00 for adults and two dollars for children. The Pageant finale follows on Saturday, August 20th, 7 PM at the Bliss Center with tickets selling for $50.00,$40.00, or $20.00
