Carnival was put on an indefinite pause during the pandemic, but in 2022 it's back and livelier than ever with impressive showings on Mas Camp night one from the Jump Street Posse, Bacchanal Mas Band, and Trench town Senior Band.
And last night when 7 News cameraman Codie Norales hit the streets he was treated to a preview of the colours, sounds, and themes that will make up Belize's first Carnival in more than 2 years, here's what he saw:
The Mas Camps continue tonight starting at 6 pm when the Collet street revellers, Pickstock Mas Band, Soca Massive Jr. Band, Mother Nature, and Soca Moca bands take to the road.
