And, finally tonight, BEL is marking the 24th consecutive year of its Christmas Hamper Drive. As per tradition, the utility and its employees have gifted over 700 hampers and care packages to deserving families countrywide.
For the past two weeks, teams of employees and community organizations delivered over 450 hampers with all that's needed for a traditional Christmas meal, and essential groceries, along with care packages to 250 senior citizens.
Over 80 other families who faced hardship or needed assistance with recovery from flood and hurricane, received hampers with essential household items and groceries.
You can see the BEL Community Spotlight Awards Show, premieres at 2:00 in the afternoon on boxing day on this channel and BEL's social media platforms.
