It may seem simple enough - but this very popular skill in a coastal country is monopolized by men.

And we should stress, it's not just driving boats for the sake of it, the training program equips captains with essential skills for navigating the challenges of farming seaweed 20 miles off the coast of Placencia.
The Association says that "Securing proficient boat captains, especially during peak tourist seasons, has been a persistent challenge."
