Four years ago the Julian Cho Technical High School was opened and its first set of graduates passed through on Sunday. Prime Minister Hon. Said Musa gave the address to the graduates where he underscored the pride that this first commencement exercise should inspire in the 69 young men and women.

Hon. Said Musa, Prime Minister
“From its humble beginnings this institution has grown in strength. And in the years to come when J.C. Technical becomes a popular name, not only in Toledo, but also in the country of Belize you the graduates will be able to say we are proud. We were the first and as the Valedictorian Ms. Araceli said, the pioneers. You were the first graduates.”

The Julian Cho Technical School has an enrollment of 400 students.

And while on Sunday's southern swing, the Prime Minister and Area Representative Hon. Mike Espat swooped into monkey river to inaugurate a water system with PM Musa gaining the distinction of becoming the first person we know of to cut the ribbon to a pipe.
