But, whether rural or urban, when it comes to education, there's no bigger relief for a parent than being able to afford one for their child.

For many Belizeans, that's best done through Holy Redeemer Credit Union and their junior saver's accounts.

We took you there a few weeks ago as the Credit Union's educational officer Carol Babb launched her first children's book, and, tonight, junior reporter Tamaine Ottley takes us right back to show you how Babb and her "Jaceito" story made a special impact on a group of preschoolers on this World Children's Day.

Tamaine Ottley
"Dr. Babb in the next 5 years or so what initiative do you think this initiative can have on education?"

Carol Babb - Education Officer, HRCU
"I believe that if we continue to do what we are doing every child will have a savings account, they will be prepared for when they are ready to go to high school, their parents will not have to worry about how will I get my child to go to high school so if parents would open an account at a very early age and teach their child to save they will be prepared for whatever happens in life, it doesn't even have to be education, we can save for anything and everything because we do not know what tomorrow will bring."

Tamaine Otley
"Trending wise within Belize, what financial trends prompted you to see that it is important to start educating youths about financial literacy?"

Carol Babb
"Well, honestly I have to thank Price Water house Coopers I work with a non profit organization called peace work and they brought financial literacy to the shores of Belize, and when I heard of financial literacy I was like what was this, what is this, and so if I had financial literacy as a young child I would be in a better position financially, financial literacy teaches you to differentiate between wants and needs, to help you to save regularly, to develop a good credit history, to plan for the future."

Tamaine Ottley
"What's your, or what's the Credit Union's plan to spread this information to kids in a safe manner?"

Carol Babb
"The Credit Union's plan is to encourage everyone to get vaccinated, to wear your mask, to follow the protocols, we are, even today's event, I have shared with Mrs. Griffith that all your teachers must be vaccinated, remember the goal of the credit Union is people helping people, so we want to help every member owner and the wide Belize to practice safety measures so that we can all protect ourselves and our loved ones."
