Piloting The Future of Education

And in education news, today was the last day of classes for most schools before the Christmas break. But this school year is also a year of pilot projects, including testing out the new curriculum. And as teachers slowly transition to the new model of teaching, the Education Minister said that they've been able to move on to another phase of the pilot.

And that's not the only project the Ministry is testing out. The free education project targeted four Southside schools this past semester, providing everything from tuition to uniforms. And Minister Fonseca says they're seeing the results, since attendance at these schools have increased by a cumulative 200 students.
