The Belize High School remains deeply divided on what to do next regarding ousted principal Jamie Usher. As we told you she's taking legal action against the school, claiming that her termination was in violation of the school's grievance procedure.

But there are also parents inside the school who support her and they do so even against the board of governors which dismissed her.

That tension played out on Wednesday night at a board and bondholders meeting.

In this video, attorney Audrey Matura who is a parent of a BHS student and has taken a lead role in defending the board's decision to oust Usher is seen being castigated by another parent, Elmer Torres, who is a board member and a senior Customs officer. According to other parents who were in attendance, the general consensus is that without Usher, there is no BHS. There is an AGM scheduled for next week, during which it is being anticipated that those who support Usher will challenge the board. And reports are that Usher's husband, Minister Henry Charles Usher is helping to rally the troops. We will keep following this story as it develops.
