And tonight one school which has been highlighted before for sending students home because of their hair is responding. ACC says it, quote, "categorically refutes recent claims…that a student was sent home or barred from returning to school due to their hairstyle or the use of hair extensions. At no point was any student denied access to classes or instructed not to attend school. ACC maintains that its policies on attire and personal appearance are rooted in the school's recognition of everyone's God-given potential and a deep appreciation of our natural gifts. The administration welcomes constructive dialogue but stands firm against any misrepresentation of its actions or intentions." end quote.
