A Way Forward for Ocean Academy

There seems to be a way forward for the long troubled Ocean Academy in Caye Caulker.

The Ministry of Education met with the Caye Caulker Village Council and the Ocean Academy Board today to advance pre-primary and high school construction projects under the Belize Education Sector Reform Programme.

They discussed the temporary relocation of Ocean Academy students during construction. A release says stakeholders focused on ensuring students continue receiving quality instruction in a safe environment.
