According to the Met Office, floodwaters continue to rise in the Cayo District. These pictures taken this weekend show the river levels, well above normal. The Hydrology Office reports that on the Macal River at Chalillo and Mollejon, reservoirs level are above the spillways. At San Ignacio the water levels is above the low level bridge. On the Mopan River levels are above normal and rising near Benque Viejo Town. At Iuana Ceek, river levels exceed the low level bridge. And in other areas, on the Crooked Tree lagoon river levels are above normal and rising constantly.
