We heard of the incident late this evening when a Forestry Officer from Belmopan was assigned to relocate it to a safe location. But he was too late, by the time he got there the Police had already kicked in, loading the reptile into the back of their mobile and setting it free up the northern highway.

Here's hoping he sticks to the swamp and avoids the urban jungle from now on.
