Dr. Lizarraga Has Left The Building

Cabinet decided on Tuesday that it will take over 100% of Universal and, with that, Dr. Victor Lizarraga has left the building. That was the word out of Universal today and Lizarraga confirmed it to 7NEWS today. He told Jules Vasquez that he is on leave and has nothing to say about Cabinet's decision to go from merger to takeover. From what we could determine, the hospital is now being run by CEO Troy Gabb. Today, founding partner and director Atanascio Cob confirmed to 7NEWS that he has been having meetings with staff who are panicked and uncertain about the future. He says there are a pool of professionals there who do not want to see Universal go down - and are prepared to work to preserve it even under new management.
