But how much of that is getting through? And to whom? Belize doesn’t have regular opinion polling, so it’s hard to make a scientific estimate.. But there’s always that flawed, but true instrument of opinion sampling called the “vox populi” – the voice of the people. And Keith Swift sampled it today to find out which side is wining the credibility campaign.

“I don’t know who to really believe but they need to straighten out their situation because if it is really as bad as how they are saying, if the doctors are having a problem with each other and whatever is happening within the institution itself, so they need to deal with that real quick.”

“The doctors or the hospital? Boy that is management you know, simple. From my perspective, management.”
Man #2,
“In a way the doctors they always have the good ways but the Board just want bring down the doctors in a way because if we don’t have doctors at the hospital then what will we do. If people go in there who get sick they will dead.”

“All I am seeing is that they are bringing up some bills and I don’t
understand where they are coming from. They are talking that somebody is thieving and I don’t know because another man came up and said something different and I don’t understand. I don’t understand what is the point of all the interaction and the different…I think they need to be more clearer.”

“Because I don’t believe the doctors would just be going on a go slow if they don’t have a real problem. Doctors are educated people; they wouldn’t be going on a go slow knowing that the public would suffer if there was not a real problem facing our society and facing them.”

“Well I believe the doctors and I am not with the managers- the doctors are the most important people.”

“No not right now at all. I would rather go somewhere else before like Medical or some place like that because hmmm one of those scissors shown on news, you don’t even know how many of those things they have so you never want to go to those places again.”
